Objective
The CROSSNET project, titled “Development of a network of seismological data”, has started to be implemented by the Croatian Seismological Survey (CSS) with the objective to improve and expand the existing network of seismological stations in the Republic of Croatia. The new network of seismological stations will enable the collection of more accurate data for registering and locating earthquakes, informing authorities and the public about felt earthquakes, as well as for scientific purposes, seismic hazard zoning, and for the needs of spatial planning and construction.
