On the occasion of the International Disaster Risk Reduction Day, which is commemorated on October 13, an expert meeting „Reducing vulnerability to disasters in the area of Sisak-Moslavina County“ was held in Sisak on Thursday, October 12, 2023, organized by the Regional Office of Civil Protection Zagreb, Civil Protection Directorates and Civil Protection Headquarters of Sisak-Moslavina County. At the expert meeting, part of the CROSSNET team presented the goals of the project, the methods we use when choosing locations for the installation of new seismological stations throughout the Republic of Croatia, and the equipment that will be installed as part of these stations. We attended lectures in the field of construction, geological engineering and spatial planning about the vulnerability of the area of Sisak-Moslavina County, and presentation of measures and activities aimed at reducing vulnerability.
